This is the third random draw held during the war and martial law, taken into force by the Executive Order of the President of Ukraine.

According to its results, another 500 families could get a loan to purchase housing in convenient, unique conditions for Ukraine at this time – at 3% per annum.

The project began in July 2021 but was suspended in February 2022 with the beginning of the russian invasion of Ukraine. Nonetheless was subsequently resumed in August of this year. To date, the program has issued 378 mortgage loans for a total amount constituting 463.9 million UAH.

The random draw #11, like all the previous ones, was carried out by digital sampling using a random number generator via software (RandomPicker.com) proposed by Implementation Consultant IPC GmbH and approved by KfW Bank (The software is compliant with the requirements of the law on the protection of personal data).

In their opening remarks, representatives of the Ministry of Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories, SFYH, and Implementation Consultant, which were present during the random selection of beneficiaries, have wished all citizens registered to participate in the program to fulfill their dream of purchasing their own homes.

Serhii Komnatnyi, the Chairman of the Board of the SFYH, pointed out that the program "Housing for IDPs" is an essential step towards meeting the needs of internally displaced persons in Ukraine.

The Deputy Minister of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories, Pavlo Kozyrev, emphasized that the SFYH transparently and effectively implements the German-Ukrainian housing program and expressed gratitude to the German partners for supporting the citizens of Ukraine in difficult times for our country.

It should be noted that the Ministry of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine (MinRegion) provides constant support in implementing the project. "Our government consistently, with the constant support of a reliable partner of Ukraine, the Government of Germany, continues to help internally displaced citizens solve their housing issue. The SFYH once again demonstrated transparent citizens' access to such state aid. Therefore, today's winners can get a soft loan for their own home at 3% per annum," stressed the Deputy Minister of Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine Nataliia Kozlovska in a comment to the official website of the MinRegion.

No later than the next working day after the random draw, the regional offices of the SFYH will inform persons who have received the opportunity to get a loan for housing about the need to provide documents specified by the Procedure. The list of such persons is published on the official website of the SFYH and the websites of its regional offices.

The "Housing for IDPs" program is financed by a grant from the German Government, provided as part of an intergovernmental agreement through the KfW Reconstruction Credit Institution, Frankfurt am Main. The SFYH and the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories jointly implement the project.

Loans to internally displaced persons are granted for a period of up to 20 years at 3% per annum, based on the regulatory (normative) area of the housing (dwelling) (21 square meters of total area per person and an additional 10.5 square meters per family).
